Looking for a part-time helpful female carer, or couple, to live-in above my 83 year-old mother who is losing mobility. A separate upstairs rooms/bathroom is available while the kitchen is shared. Details of work to be arranged with a moderate remuneration, based on a part-time/on-call basis as required, leaving time for individual space to be able to enjoy the surrounding area. The cottage is in scenic Ingleton with a private garden in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and is a perfect area for hiking in or visiting the nearby Lake District.
Details and primary functions:
- Assist Lauraine with rising, bathing, getting dressed at about mid-day.
- Using her car to take her to a medical or health treatment.
- Occasional companionship time.
- Helping with dinner and going to bed in the evening.
- Assisting with any issues which arise.
Remuneration:
Free accommodation upstairs (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 room) with separate entrance through shared kitchen.
Electrical bills, heating and hot water, and free internet inclusive.
A long-term part-time contract based on a UKP monthly payment will be arranged.
